About Us

Established in 2005, the Ballarat International Foto Biennale is a world-class event that continues to evolve, expand and attract curious audiences and most importantly, renowned photographic artists from across the globe. The most important aspect of the Biennale remains the ability for this event to focus the lens onto artists from all countries, backgrounds, cultures and interests using Ballarat as a beautiful backdrop. The spotlight is shared equally among them all. 

In order to present the 2023 Ballarat International Foto Biennale, the 10th iteration of the festival, and continue to support artists in Ballarat and beyond, we rely heavily on support from generous individuals and donations are absolutely vital to ensuring the festival continues.
